We have two main types of pricing methods Custom Rate & Meter Price as mentioned below:
Custom Rate:
We have a fair and transparent pricing model for great convenience to the drivers and customers. Our system allows you to set up the Price Per mile/km and time to automatically calculate the cost based on the distance traveled and time utilized during the trip.
The following details are required to set up the custom rate:
· Minimum base fare amount
· Waiting time charge
· Ride time charge
· Cancellation charges for drivers
· Cancellation charges for customers
· Acceptance charges for drivers
· Extra charges per customer & luggage
Follow the below steps to set up the Custom Rate:
Step 1: Need to click the submenu “Pricing” under the “Taxi” menu to set up the pricing on the left top corner of the Admin panel.
Step 2: Click on the “New” button on the right top corner of the Pricing page
Step 3: Fill in the details required under Basic Fare, Time Charge, Cancellation Charge, and Other Charges
Step 4: Click on the “Create” button
Meter Price:
We have two types of Meter Pricing methods that the Admin can setup based on the Range KMs and Per KM Price:
Per Mile/KM price: Admin has to set a base price for your drivers/customers. The cost will be calculated automatically after you set up all the prices. Admin can define the slab per mile/km in this pricing type. So, pricing will be applied based on the defined slabs per mile/km. Admin can also set wait time charge, ride time charge, cancellation charge (driver and customer both), acceptance charge, and an extra charge (per customer & luggage).
Follow the below steps to set up the Per Mile/KM Meter pricing:
Step 1: Click the submenu “Pricing” under the “Taxi” menu on the left top corner of the Admin panel.
Step 2: Click on the “Meter Price” button on the left top corner of the Pricing page
Step 3: Click on the “Add Meter Price” button on the right top corner of the Meter Price Page
Step 4: Select the “Per KM Price” option from the drop-down option in the “Calculation type” field.
Step 5: Fill in the details required under Basic Fare, Waiting Time Charge, Driver Cancellation Charge, Customer Cancellation Charge, and Other Charges
Step 6: Click on the “Create” button
Per Mile/KM example:
It’s also called slab pricing due to its pricing structure which is similar to that of tariff pricing. Let’s have a look at an example to understand it better.
1-10 km – $10
11-20 km - $15
21-Ꝏ km - $20
The fare is calculated as per this slab pricing. So, if a rider travels 25 km, then he has to pay $350 for 25 KM and other charges.
Range Price: Admin can set a fixed charge for a distance or route where Customers will have to pay a set amount of charge, regardless of the actual distance the customer travels. Admin can define the mile/km range as slab wise and when the trip completes, a defined price will be applied from that particular slab. Admin can also add driver cancellation charge, customer cancellation charge, acceptance charge, and extra charge per customer and luggage (if it exceeds your minimum sitting and luggage criteria)
Follow the below steps to set up the Range Price Meter pricing:
Step 1: Click the submenu “Pricing” under the “Taxi” menu on the left top corner of the Admin panel.
Step 2: Click on the “Meter Price” button on the left top corner of the Pricing page
Step 3: Click on the “Add Meter Price” button on the right top corner of the Meter Price Page
Step 4: Select the “Range Price” option from the drop-down option in the “Calculation type” field.
Step 5: Fill in the details required under Basic Fare, Waiting Time Charge, Driver Cancellation Charge, Customer Cancellation Charge, and Other Charges
Step 6: Click on the “Create” button
Range Price example:
The pricing will be calculated as per the final slab in which the traveled km reaches and the rate defined for that slab will be applicable.
Let’s take an example to understand this better.
1-10 – $20
11- 15 - $30
16 – Ꝏ - $40
Suppose the rider traveled 21 km, then the total fare will be $40 as per the 16 – 20 slab price and other charges.
