Surge price allows you and your driver to earn more profits by getting the advantage of high customer demand by imposing surge pricing during peak hours, holidays, weekends, office hours, and midnight hours.
Our surge pricing is governed by a few parameters which are mentioned below where you can create different types of Surge prices:
1. Define surge pricing at odd hours or on your desired time slots:
You can select a specific time slot as well as the magnitude of the surge pricing. For example, if you selected the time slot of 1 AM – 5 AM with a surge pricing of 1X, then fares for all the rides during that time slot will increase by 100%.
2. Define surge pricing for a specific day or date
You can select a specific day or date accordingly to that the surge price will be applied.
3. Earn profits by imposing surge pricing on the busiest areas:
Another parameter for surge pricing is to select a specific region. For example, if you selected a region of a 3 km radius from the airport then all the requests coming from that region will have a surged price.
Follow the below steps to set up the Surge Price Price:
Step 1: Click the submenu “Pricing” under the “Taxi” menu on the left top corner of the Admin panel.
Step 2: Click on the “Surge Price” button on the left top corner of the Pricing page.
Step 3: Click on the “+ Add” button on the right top corner of the Surge Price Page.
Step 4: Fill in the details required under Name, Start Time, End Time, Date-Time, etc.
Step 6: Click on the “Submit” button.
